Battle of Kurukshetra
Made up of 36 Etch A Sketches, this installation overall presents an abstract depiction of a grand piano, with portraits of a pianist, and drawings of men and elephants in battle. The portraits are of Sri Chinmoy playing an extemporaneous piano piece later titled The Battle of Kurukshetra. Papaha listened to the recording of Sri Chinmoy playing the piano piece while doing the drawings, which took over 50 hours to complete.
